Supervision

Individual Supervision

20161003_094216.jpg

I work with counsellors, psychotherapists and allied practitioners in private practise and voluntary organisations. I offer individual supervision to support: one to one work, group work, supervision and training.

I work as an Embodied-Relational and Wild psychotherapist and I'm interested in supporting practitioners who are drawn to these ways of working. Supervision, like good therapy, is a balance of support and challenge. I am interested in creating honest and transparent supervisory relationships, so that risks can be taken and deep learning can occur.

My expertise lies with supporting you to work with embodiment, and with how to encourage your clients to explore their body process. I also work with the relationship, by following parallel process between you as supervisee and myself as supervisor, which can echo the re-enactment of significant relationships between you and your client.

I’m greatly enjoying having conversations with my Supervisee's that bring into the therapeutic frame, issues of social justice, privilege and marginalisation. Aiming to keep awake to power dynamics within the therapeutic relationship. Exploring how a systemic and social/political perspective can rich the work.

My preference is to work face to face; I also offer online sessions when necessary to support the face to face work. If your drawn to working with me as a supervisor please contact me to arrange a first meeting.

Supervision Group.

I have been working as a supervisor since 2009. For most of that time I've run a monthly supervision group. I have no current plans to restart the group. I am interested in offering supervision to any existing small group that is interested in my support. Please contact me for more info.
